Volunteer with YPA NYC

Are you passionate about working in the arts and looking for an opportunity to grow outside your regular 9-5 arts job? YPA NYC is looking to expand our team!

YPA NYC is a volunteer-run organization managed by Mara Vlatković and Jacque Donaldson. YPA NYC supports a collaborative work environment and aims to provide each of its volunteers opportunities to grow, create, and build skills towards their sought directions or career path.

This means, instead of us telling you what we want you to do at YPA NYC, we want YOU to pitch us what you want to work on. Tell us what you would like to do for however much time you want to commit for.

All volunteers are required to attend one YPA NYC hour-long business meeting a month and should treat the committed hours with consideration.

Potential upcoming projects could include:

• Working on an organization marketing plan and implementation

• Grant writing and fundraising

• Event planning and workshop development

• Arts article/interview writing
