Arts Weekly | May 27-June 2
We hope you enjoyed some much-needed time off this long weekend! For us-the extra day meant more time to catch up on our always growing reading list, as reflected in this week’s Read section where we learn about how AI is being utilized (and maybe banned) for screening events and we contemplate the institutional impact of the recent wave of museum protests. For Go, the summer event options continues to pick-up, from a development focused online webinar to a conversation on AI hosted at the National Arts Club. The job hunt can start with a few of the opportunities listed in Apply and then meet us at Sotheby’s Institute of Art on June 18 for an all-star panel on applying for jobs in NYC with leaders from NYFA Classifieds, Art Frankly, Fractured Atlas, and the founder and namesake of Hillary Burchfield LLC Fine Arts Executive Search and Recruiting. Tickets are $10 but include a drink along with an opportunity to mingle. Hope to see you there!
