Celebrate LMCC's River to River festival which presents 12 days of dance, music, theater and the visual arts over 100 performances and events spanning 31 unique sites across Lower Manhattan and Governors Island. It's a great way to experience both a range of performance and public art in Manhattan's lower side. We will gather at City Hall Park for a reimagined performance by Maria Hassabi, STAGED? (2016) – undressed,Also on view will be Katja Novitskova’s sculptural exhibition, EARTH POTENTIAL, presented by Public Art Fund. No RSVP just meet us in the center of the park, across from the Woolworth Building at 5:45pm.

Center For Performance Research Open House

Join us for a night of dancing in Brooklyn at CPR’s iconic Open House event. During the evening CPR presents works-in-progress and a discussion with the artists about the development process for new movement and dance. This evening will feature Kimberly Bartosik, Katie Rose McLaughlin, and Tatyana Tenenbaum. With a discussion afterward moderated by Jen McGinn. Free admission. $5 donation encouraged at the door (cash only).
