Summer 2020 YPA NYC hosted our last event and posted the last Arts Weekly Round Up before taking an unplanned three year hiatus. During that time, A LOT has happened; we lived through a global pandemic, had to embrace work from home life, jobs and responsibilities grew, shit hit the fans in our personal lives, some of the YPA team moved away, some started Grad school, others became dog parents—in two words, life happened.

But at long last, we are ready to re-launch the YPA network! SO join us for a causal happy hour to say hello and learn more about this next chapter of YPA NYC.

Life Imitates Art: Working in the (Online) Art World

YPA had a Talk and Happy Hour at Artsy’s swanky downtown offices. We had the opportunity to hear from Catherine Henry, a Gallery Relations Lead at Artsy and Associate Director of OnSite.

Speaker: Catherine Henry is a Gallery Relations Lead at Artsy and Associate Director of OnSite, Artsy’s global series of events featuring the world’s most critically-acclaimed contemporary artists and current exhibitions, held in collaboration with Artsy’s network of partner galleries, museums and other non-profit institutions. When she’s not at Artsy, Catherine serves as a Creative Time Ambassador. Prior to joining Artsy in 2014, Catherine worked for Gagosian Gallery.
